Koornk is a micro-blogger which also allows you to aggregate information from other websites. You can add pictures to your updates as well as the newly added “topics”. With it’s clean and simple design you can’t go wrong.

It was created in June of 2008 by Matija Rijavec within 16 hours of the idea being conjured up it was built and running like free-ranged chickens. Previously it was branded by the high profile technology blog TechCrunch as a Twitter rip, so the developers hit back by steadily releasing better and bigger features which Twitter is yet to even consider.

Look out for a future screencast of their newest update on their iPhone application.

There’s something a little different for this kast. Tumblr made an awesome video explaining the upgrade :)

Jaiku’s main goal is to bring people closer together by enabling them to share their activity streams. An activity stream is a log of everyday things as they happen: your status messages, recommendations, events you’re attending, photos you’ve taken - anything you post directly to Jaiku or add using Web feeds.

Today I’m is an activity based micro-blogging site where you can share with the world (or just your friends) what you plan to do in your day. Other people can then reply to your status or get involved with the activity, however whatever they do is entirely up to you.

It was originally setup as a challenge which then sprouted into a full time project. The idea came from the fact that everyone has boring days so why not give people a way to meet up with friends, relatives or randoms to do an organised event which can be arranged on the day? No longer is the need to plan weeks in advance to get the turnout you want to events, as Today I’m allows people to register their attend in a matter of seconds.

We do apologise for not being able to supply this kast in HD, slight hiccup and we’ll make sure it won’t happen again :)
